Bobillier (Moon)

Named after Étienne Bobillier - French geometer (1798-1840).

Bobillier is a tiny, cup-shaped lunar impact crater in the southwest part of Mare Serenitatis. To the south and west is a wrinkle ridge designated Dorsum Buckland. Bobillier was previously identified as Bessel E before being named by the IAU in 1976. (wikipedia entry)

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On the Moon they are named after deceased scientists, polar explorers, astronauts or cosmonauts.
