Moseley (Moon)

Named after Henry Gwyn Jeffreys Moseley - British physicist (1887-1915).

Moseley is a worn lunar impact crater that lies along the western limb. It lies just to the south of the crater Bartels, and near the north-northeastern rim of Einstein. Due to its location, this crater is viewed side-on from Earth, and not much detail can be seen. It can also become hidden from sight due to the effects of libration. (wikipedia entry)

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On the Moon they are named after deceased scientists, polar explorers, astronauts or cosmonauts.
