Zasyadko (Moon)

Named after Alexander Dmitrievich Zasyadko - Russian rocketry scientist, inventor (1779-1837).

Zasyadko is a small lunar crater located to the northeast of Mare Smythii. It lies beyond the eastern lunar limb in an area that is only visible during favorable librations. It is located entirely within the crater Babcock. To the southwest is McAdie. (wikipedia entry)

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On the Moon they are named after deceased scientists, polar explorers, astronauts or cosmonauts.
