Mongibello Mons (Io)
Name for Mt. Etna, site of Vulcan's forge in Dante's "The Inferno" Thunderbolts from here killed Capaneus, the great blasphemer.
A mons is a mountain. On Io they are named after places associated with Io myth, places from Dante’s Inferno, or derived from a nearby named feature.
