Hahn (Moon)

Named after Friedrich von Hahn - German astronomer (1741-1805) and Otto Hahn - German chemist (1879-1968).

Hahn is a lunar impact crater that is located near the northeastern limb. The crater appears oval when viewed from the Earth due to foreshortening. It is located less than one crater diameter to the southeast of Berosus, a slightly smaller formation. The inner wall contains a system of terraces, particularly in the southern half. (wikipedia entry)

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On the Moon they are named after deceased scientists, polar explorers, astronauts or cosmonauts.
