Dorsum Zirkel (Moon)

Named after Ferdinand Zirkel - German geologist, mineralogist (1838-1912).

Dorsum Zirkel is a wrinkle ridge in Mare Imbrium. Two small craters, La Hire A and B, lie on either side of the dorsum. The large crater Lambert is to the southeast, and the smaller McDonald is to the northeast. (wikipedia entry)

A dorsum is a ridge, sometimes called a wrinkle ridge. On the Moon they are named after geoscientists.
