Von Siebold (Venus)

Named after Regina Siebold - German physician, educator (1771-1849).

Regina Josepha von Siebold, née Henning was a German physician and obstetrician. When her spouse became mentally ill and incapable of work she received an obstetrician license from Darmstadt University: in 1815, she received an exam in the same subject from the Giessen University and the first of her gender to do so. She managed a medical clinic assisted by her daughter Charlotte von Siebold. (wikipedia entry)

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On Venus they are named after deceased women who have made outstanding or fundamental contributions to their field (if over 20 km). If smaller common female first names are used.
