Adivar (Venus)

Named after Halide Adivar - Turkish educator, author (1883-1964).

Adivar is an impact crater on Venus, named in honor of Turkish writer and pilot Halide Edip Adıvar. The crater is located just north of the western Aphrodite highland Surrounding the crater rim is ejected material which appears bright in the radar image due to the presence of rough fractured rock. A much broader area has also been affected by the impact, particularly to the west of the crater. (wikipedia entry)

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On Venus they are named after deceased women who have made outstanding or fundamental contributions to their field (if over 20 km). If smaller common female first names are used.
