Ravi Vallis (Mars)

Named after the Ancient Pakistani River.

The Ravi Vallis outflow channel is 205.5 km long, and starts at the northeastern end of the Aromatum Chaos depression. The Ravi Vallis outflow channel and neighboring deep depression at Aromatum Chaos, are thought to have been caused by volcano-ice interactions underneath the surface, which pierced an underground aquifer. (wikipedia entry)

A vallis is a valley. On Mars large valles are named after words for Mars/star in various languages. Small valles are named after classical or modern names of rivers.
