Monan Patera (Io)

Brazilian god who destroyed the world with fire and flood.

Monan Patera is a patera, or a complex crater with scalloped edges, on Jupiter's moon Io. Monan Patera forms an unusual worm-shaped depression at the north end of the elongate mountain Monan Mons, south of which is Ah Peku Patera. (wikipedia entry)

A patera is an irregular crater, or a complex one with scalloped edges. Usually the dish-shaped depression atop a volcano. On Io they are named after words for fire, sun or thunder; volcano gods, heroes, goddesses or mythical blacksmiths.
