Labou Vallis (Mars)

Labou Vallis has dark slope streaks on its walls. The streaks are generally thought to be the dark material that has been exposed by bright dust moving down a steep slope in an avalanche. (wikipedia entry)

A vallis is a valley. On Mars large valles are named after words for Mars/star in various languages. Small valles are named after classical or modern names of rivers.
