Paculla (Vesta)

Named after Paculla Annia - Campanian (Southern Italy) priestess of Bacchus whose reforms radically altered the Bacchanalian ritual in ancient Rome (fl. c. 188 B.C.).

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On Vesta they are named after names historically associated with the Roman goddess Vesta (vestal virgins, people associated with vestal virgins) and famous Roman women.
