Melotte Regio (Ganymede)
Named after Philibert Jacques Regio - British astronomer (1880-1961).
A regio is a large area marked by reflectivity or color distinctions from adjacent areas, or a broad geographic region. On Ganymede they are named after astronomers who discovered Jovian satellites.
