Störmer T (Moon)

Satellite Feature of Störmer

Named after Fredrik Carl Mülertz Störmer - Norwegian mathematician and astronomer, aurora research (1874-1957).

Störmer lies in the northern part of the lunar surface, to the southeast of the crater Olivier and to the north of van Rhijn. The edge of the rim is sharply defined, and the inner wall is terraced along the northwestern side. The interior floor is level, with a double-peak formation at the midpoint. (wikipedia entry)
