Ingalls G (Moon)

Satellite Feature of Ingalls

Named after Albert Graham Ingalls - American optician (1888-1958).

Ingalls is an old lunar crater that lies on the far side. It is located to the north-northwest of the walled plain Mach. About the same distance to the west is the crater Joule. This crater has been heavily damaged by subsequent impacts, leaving little more than an irregular depression in the surface. (wikipedia entry)
