Designation of first (Eastern) part of "Nilus" or Nile Canal.

A albedo feature is an area which shows a contrast in brightness or darkness (albedo) with adjacent areas. On Mars they are named after names from classical mythology assigned by Schiaparelli and Antoniadi.
