Arsia Mons (Mars)

Arsia Silva-classical albedo feature name; Arsia Silva, forest northwest of Rome where the Tarquinii were defeated

Arsia Mons is the southernmost of three volcanos on the Tharsis bulge near the equator of the planet Mars. The tallest volcano in the solar system, Olympus Mons, is to its northwest. Its name comes from a corresponding albedo feature on a map by Giovanni Schiaparelli, which he named in turn after the legendary Roman forest of Arsia Silva. (wikipedia entry)

A mons is a mountain. On Mars they are named after the nearest named albedo feature on the Schiaparelli or Antoniadi maps.
