Xiao Zhao (Mercury)

Chinese painter (active 1130-1162).

Xiao Zhao crater is small in comparison with many other craters on Mercury. The fresh, bright rays, which were created by material ejected outward during the impact event that formed the crater, indicate that Xiao Zhao is a young crater on Mercury's surface. Xiao Zhao is located near Eastman crater. (wikipedia entry)

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On Mercury they are named after deceased artists, musicians, painters, and authors who have made outstanding or fundamental contributions to their field and have been recognized as art historically significant figures for more than 50 years.
