Jezero (Mars)

Named after the Town in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The diameter of the crater is about 49.0 km Thought to have once been flooded with water, the crater contains a fan-delta deposit rich in clays. In several Slavic languages, including Bosnian, Croatian, Czech, Serbian, and Slovenian, the word jezero means "lake". (wikipedia entry)

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On Mars large craters are named after deceased scientists, writers and others who have contributed to the lore of Mars. Small creaters (less than 60km) are named after small towns and villages.
