Niman Rupes (Ceres)
Hopi (SW USA) ritual ending the katsina (spiritual beings) season, celebrates the katsinas’ return to their spiritual home in July and their part in the blossoming of plant life.
A rupes is a scarp. On Ceres they are named after agricultural festivals of the world.
