Coelia (Vesta)

Named after Coelia Concordia - the last Roman vestal virgin and the last Vestalis Maxima (Chief Vestal) after the Temple of Vesta was closed in 391 (d. 406 A.D.).

A crater is a circular depression likely created by an impact event. On Vesta they are named after names historically associated with the Roman goddess Vesta (vestal virgins, people associated with vestal virgins) and famous Roman women.
