Espin E (Moon)

Satellite Feature of Espin

Named after Thomas Henry Espinall Compton - British astronomer (1858-1934).

Espin is a lunar crater that lies on the far side , just beyond the northeastern limb. It lies to the west-southwest of the larger crater Seyfert, and northwest of Deutsch. This is a worn formation with heavy damage along the northern rim. Several small craters lie along the northern edge, and a crater lies across the southern rim. (wikipedia entry)
