Lebedev F (Moon)

Satellite Feature of Lebedev

Named after Pëtr Nikolajevich Lebedev - Russian physicist (1866-1912).

Lebedev is a crater on the far side. To the southeast lies the smaller crater Cassegrain. This is a worn and eroded crater formation with an uneven outer rim, although no significant impacts overlay the rim edge. (wikipedia entry)
